Fountain Chowk : Popularly known as 'fowara' (meaning fountain), Fountain Chowk is centrally located just opposite Extension Library on the edge of the five roads leading to Jagraon Bridge, Bharat Nagar Chowk, Aarti Chowk, Prince Hostel & Kailash Chowk respectively. This Fountain Chowk is very near to the Guru Nanak Stadium, Mall Road, Ghumar Mandi and Old Courts. The Fountain Chowk Market with total no. of 18 eatery shops was set up in 1977 by Muncipal Corporation Ludhiana. This Fountain Chowk market is a hot spot for the people in Ludhiana. Nehru Planetarium : Nehru Planetarium located near Rose Garden, initially an asset of Ludhiana is now a blot on the face of Ludhiana tourism. Set up at an expenditure of crores, Nehru planetarium, one of its kinds in the northern region & one of the few in the country, has now been closed down. Chattar Singh Park : Chattar Singh Park, named after an NCC cadet who died while digging a drain along with his battalion to supply water to the bus stand area in the early 1950s. Often called the Matka Chowk of Ludhiana, it has become a place to hold demonstrations and meetings. Chattar Singh had died in the early 1950s. The park was named after him and was constructed in 1954. ...............................
