The hospital is almost as synonymous with the Ludhiana as the Ludhiana is with the hospital. After all, CMC has a 113 years old history, making it one of the oldest educational institutions & hospital not only in Punjab, but in the India as well. Today in the present scenario, the institution that has put LudhianaDistrict on the World’s Medical map is alleviating the pains of the city & the Punjab state in a much better way than before.
A major landmark in the history of the school was the inauguration of the Brown Memorial Hospital in March 1957. Today the same CMC & Hospital is a premier institution, which consists of Medical College, Dental College & a College of Nursing. While CMC continues to be involved in community outreach, it has grown leaps & bounds in highly developed specialized services for patients.........................................
