Railway Guide
To avoid disappointment in obtaining accommodation, it is suggested that reservations of seats/berths be made as far in advance as possible. Please turn up at the station at least 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time of the train or else the reserved accommodation may be released to other passengers. Passengers holding waitlisted tickets should not board reserved coaches without permission from the authorized staff; otherwise, they may be detained and fined. In Rajdhani Express and Shatabdi Express trains, which are fully reserved trains, such passengers will be excess charged.
LOST TICKETS: Indian Railways, in case of lost or misplaced or torn tickets entertain no claim for refund. However, if you have lost a reserved ticket the Railway may, at its discretion, permit you to travel on the same reservation on payment of the additional charges as per the Railway rules.
